Our history
Located just outside Deauville, Elevage de Tourgéville is a family-run operation founded by the Lepeudry family: Pierre, the grandfather; Antoine, the son; and Félix, the grandson.
For three generations, they have been breeding exceptional horses across the stud’s 100 hectares of land.
The story of Tourgéville begins with Pierre Lepeudry’s father, who first brought horses to the family estate. A friend of Baron Guy de Rothschild’s veterinarian, he acquired a few retired mares, marking the beginning of the Lepeudry family’s involvement in Thoroughbred breeding.

Our achievements
Amongst our graduates, we are proud to count winners of prestigious races, including:

Prix Marcel Boussac (Gr.1) at ParisLongchamp with LILY'S CANDLE
The race that rewards the best 2-year-old filly in France each autumn. This outstanding filly was sold for €1,100,000 following her victory. -
Criterium de Saint-Cloud (Gr.1) with ROBIN OF NAVAN

Our land
Elevage de Tourgéville covers approximately 100 hectares in the heart of Calvados, overlooking the Touques Marsh.
We pay particular attention to the quality of our pastures. For this reason, we practice regular rotation grazing with organic Charolais cows from neighboring farmers and allow periods of rest for the soil.
We proudly maintain the traditional hedgerow landscape of our region. Our hedges are made up of native species, and we ensure that trees are regularly replanted to preserve them. We produce our own forage, and the organic matter we spread comes from the manure generated on the stud farm.
